The mediation fee is $200 per hour, and the mediator charges in quarter-hour increments. This fee is typically divided evenly between the parties unless otherwise agreed or ordered by the Court. There is a two-hour minimum fee for a half-day mediation and a four-hour minimum fee for a full-day mediation. Fees may be lowered for certain cases, but this will be determined on a case-by-case basis. There is no charge for travel time within a two-hour radius. Anything farther than two hours will be billed at the normal hourly rate. Mediation fees are due and payable at the conclusion of the mediation, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. The lawyers are responsible for paying mediation fees if their clients fail to do so within a reasonable time.
